A product code can be a useful means of purchasers identifying your product. It may be a Universal Product Code (UPC) or your own internal product code.

If you are using variants for your item, you can choose to set individual product codes for each variant, by selecting the 'Use Multiple Product Codes' option. Selecting this option will also allow you to enter an optional product code prefix. Individual product codes can be input into the 'My Stock' table in the 'Stock Control' panel.
