To list an item, click on your account manager at the top of the page and select listings manager from the left hand-side menu. then click the 'create listings' button and follow the on-screen instructions. Here are some tips for each section

Title:

  • Write a descriptive headline for the item, such as "Zara coat in size S, black”.
Short Description:

  • Should you wish to be more precise with the title, you can add a bit more in this section, for example: "Worn once, like new”.
Long Description:

  • In the description field you are encouraged to be very precise about the item; write down for example which season item is from, what the material is, the measurements, share your styling tips and so on. It is very important that you do not mis-describe the item as otherwise the buyer is entitled to return it.
  • You should also mention any flaws or anything else worth mentioning due to the previous usage of the item. Think of all the things that YOU would like to know if you were the buyer.
Product Categories:

  • Pick the most accurate category for your item, this allows potential buyers to find them more easily.
Product Attributes and variants:

  • Item Attributes define standard settings for your item, and they help the buyers to identify and order the correct item. Choose different attributes, such as the condition.
  • Please note that the attributes cannot be altered once the listing has been published.
Photos:

  • Share clear images of the item: take pictures of the front, back, details and any possible flaws. It is preferable to take the images in front of a simple background, such as a white wall, or lying flat on top of a white sheet.
Currency & Price:

  • Select the currency you wish to work with, then decide how much you will sell the item for and write that number as the Start Price. You may add a reserve price and a Buy It Now price and for auctions, you may choose to use a bid increment of your own preference.
  • Note, the minimum listing price amount is £1.
Product Code:

  • You can enter an optional product code to identify your product. This may be a Universal Product Code (UPC) or your own internal product code. You can also choose not to use product codes for your listings.
Listing Type:

  • Now you can choose if you will sell your item as an auction or with a fixed price. You can also choose both if you wish.
Listing Period:

  • Fixed price listing: You can either start the listing immediately or delay it depending on your preferences. The default is set to start the listing immediately, however if you untick the ‘start immediately’ box you can adjust the start time. The Listing Duration is set to 30 days, which is the maximum duration, but this can be adjusted by clicking on the drop-down menus to suit you. The default setting for Auto Relist is set to 'Off', however you can choose to auto-relist your item up to three times if it remains unsold. This can be adjusted in the drop-down menu under Auto Relisting.
  • Auction Listing: The maximum listing period for auction items is set to 10 days. Should you wish to list it for a shorter period, you can adjust this using the drop-down menus. You can choose to 'Auto Extend' your listing by ticking the 'Auto Extend' box. This means that if a bid is placed during the last 20 seconds of an auction, auto extend will immediately reset the countdown to 20 seconds. As with the Buy Now items, you can choose to auto-relist your item up to three times if it remains unsold. Alternatively, you can choose to set this function to 'off' in the drop-down menu, in which case it will not be relisted automatically.
Shipping Options:

  • Choose one of your predefined shipping profiles from your drop-down list or create a new profile. If you select, ‘create a new profile’ select the destination you want to ship to from the drop-down menu. You can add more than one destination by clicking on the ‘add another destination’ button. Insert shipping charges for the item(s). On publishing the listing, you will be given the option to save the new profile for future listings. Any changes made to existing profiles will automatically update in all listings that use the profile.
Sellers are responsible for setting shipping charges at reasonable rates for the service provided.  Overcharging for shipping could have a detrimental effect on the businesses and brands for both the seller and Icephorm Limited.

Visibility:

  • Should you wish to have extra visibility for your item on the Pre-Loved landing page in order to possibly increase the chances of making a sale, you can choose to pay extra for this - simply tick the relevant box in this section. We use an algorithm to fairly but randomly select the featured listings that appear on the Pre-Loved home page.
Terms & Policies:

  • Here you should include your shipping terms and returns policies. Under Shipping Terms, describe how the items are shipped, and on what timeline. In the Returns Policy section, state if the customer can return their item and if so, under what conditions. Be very specific to avoid any possible confusion after a purchase has been made.

Once you have completed this page, click “Publish” to move directly to publishing the listing, or “Preview” to see how your listing will look once published. Alternatively, you can save the listing as a draft and finalise the listing later on. For example, you may need to take more pictures or measurements etc.

To complete the publishing process, you must agree to the terms mentioned on the next page. Once you are happy with everything, publish the item.
